Jessica Elgot is an award-winning news reporter currently on the Guardian’s live desk.
Based in London, she specialises in reporting religion, race relations, extremism and human rights – as well as Westminster politics. She was named one of the Drum’s top 30 under 30 women in digital media, and won the Wyn Harness Prize for Young Journalists 2011.
She is a regular commentator on HuffPost Live, and has discussed wide-ranging subjects on LBC, BBC Radio 4, BBC Radio Nottingham and BBC Radio 5Live.
